Easy One Hour Oven
In less than an hour we where able to build a wood oven.
List of materials:
- 6 Concrete blocks for the base of the oven.
- Large pile of bricks the more the better for insulation.
- 5 Concrete rectangles (minimum of 16 inch long) for the roof
First you need to create a base for the oven with the blocks. These blocks will make the oven high enough so that you don’t need to cook on the ground. After you have your second row of concret block pretty level you will need to start putting bricks on. There is a number of different ways to do this. I recommend on there side. The first oven I build they where not on there side and it still worked but I think the more insulation the better so if you can do two bricks high on there side that will be great. The rest is up to you really depending on what you have for the top of the oven will depend on how wide you can make your oven. Also dependingon how much brick you have will depend on how high you can make your oven.
