Threading the needle
We recently had a big windstorm in Charlotte – beautiful sunny day and 70mph winds. The wind brought down a white oak on one of our rental properties. By all odds, this tree should have crashed down on the house closest to it, or at least any of the other houses or cars around it.
It snapped a power pole like a matchstick
the tree was literally uprooted and no damage to very much at all….
With all the wind there was no chainsaw crews available to help clear out the car that got trapped under the tree (ps: no damage to the car). Fortunately, my friend Jeff Barber had a chainsaw plus the chainsaw skillz to unearth the vehicle. Thank you Jeff!
